EDIT food.

I’ll admit I like food. A lot. And most of the time I enjoy cooking. I even briefly entertained the notion of starting a blog about food, but it’s already being done — and very well, at that.

Editing my life to live it more fully means spending more time doing what I love with the people I love — and spending less time in the kitchen. So fast, easy recipes are key. I’ll also try to feature food that not only looks and tastes good, but is nutritious, and low in calories and fat.

That’s the idea behind EDITfood.

*Favorite recipe sites include Food Network, Martha Stewart, Epicurious, Saveur, Taste of Home and SimplyRecipes. It’s also my secret fantasy to be a guest (or even a dish washer) at a dinner party hosted by Deb of smittenkitchen.com.

I’m in your camp. You have such a great palate–always adding the just right ingredient to something to improve it (like the pear in the squash soup–yum!). Throw in healthy and I’m hooked!

I am all about the low fat and healthy — but *you’re* the one with the palate, my dear. Still making your Epicurious Asian-inspired salmon after all these years…

This looks like an adventure worth going on. Where’s the onion/havarti?

It will come as soon as I can figure out how to make Havarti a lowfat option. My grilled onion “secret” recipe, however, will soon be a secret no more! xo
